Name: A. White Review: "VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE" I took out a policy for my daughter in May 2007. United Investors has been drafting my account for the supposed premium for the last 4 and 1/2 years. When I inquired as to why the draft on my account has someone else's name, I was informed that I don't have a policy on my daughter because it lapsed in 2007. I was told that I faxed over bank statement showing first draft and most recent draft, they would refund all 46 payments that UNITED INVESTORS drafted. I have been getting the run around every since. No one, not even a manager has called me back and I still have not received my money. Very POOR customer service and VERY POOR company.

Name: Lenore Trujillo Review: "in spite of numerous calls, I cannot get any response" I have called repeatedly this year and last year because I do not get a bill from these people. I keep using an old bill and am afraid that I don't have any documentation for those years. This year they've told me repeatedly that the bill has been sent or will be sent and so far nothing. They also said that I have a 30 day grace period and that I can wait for the bill to arrive so that I have some documentation---now they don't recognize my policy number and and I can't get through to anyone either on the phone or the web site. I hope this will go through. I need a bill

Name: J. Normark Review: "United Investors Life Review" It's nearly impossible to contact them to get questions answered via their "customer service" inquiry web site. I've tried at least half a dozen times, never get a call or email back.

Name: J.Cunningham Review: "DOUBLED PREMIUMS" Once we bought the term policies 20 years ago we never saw the salesman again and no contact at all by the company to see if we needed their services, except to collect the premiums. Then they doubled them without notification to $159 August 2010

Name: S Review: "Scam" I wasn't billed for my policy premium for a couple months so I called to inquire about it. The customer service rep. said she did not know why I wasn't being billed but that my policy was still active. I received a bill that required four monthly payments and paid it right away. Then one week after I sent the payment, I received a default notice which was basically a cancellation notice.
