"Life Insurance Mystery"
I bought whole life policies for my wife and I around 14 years ago. It was a policy and company recommended by the Non-Commissioned Officers Association when I was in the military. I have had the payments automatically deducted from my bank account since I started the policy. I have never had any real problems, and they send me a yearly statement detailing my account, which I like. The one complaint I have is that the company offers very little online. I cannot sign up for statements online, see anything about my account, and when I recently changed banks, it wasn't very easy to get the autodebit changed. I had to call someone, fill out a form, attach a check, and fax it. I guess I am satisfied, but a small part of me feels they have taken my premiums for quite a while, but I have very little contact with them, and customer service seems rushed.
