"Christian based is best"
I have had my life insurance for twenty three years through this company even though there have been mergers and name changes throughout that time. The representatives are always kind, respectful and helpful. There is nothing I dislike about my life insurance company, it is wonderful and I have never had a problem with them. Their policy options are great, their rates are reasonable and you can feel secure in knowing they are based through the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. The only draw back I could see to this company is that it is only available to those who are members of an ELCA church or are married to or children of members.

"Universal Life Insurance"
I have had my Horizon Universal Life insruance policy for 27 years. My parents bought it in my youth and I took over the premium payments after college. The policy supplements my group coverages i get from work. As a universal life policy it has flexible premiums (I can pay any amount subject to certain minimums and maximuns) and it has flexible benefits that can be adjusted over time subject to underwriting without issueing a whole new policy. The policy is ccurrently paid up and I cannot pay anymore premiums at this time. I was able to add additonal coverage thorugh GPO's without any underwriting a few times.
