Review:
"My One Thousand Dollar Life Insurance Policy"
I was born in 1949 which makes me 61 years old. My parents took out a 1,000 dollar life insurance policy (whole life) at that time. I think it was paid up at about age 18, so at that time it had full value. I have kept this policy and chosen to receive the premiums rather than invest those to make the policy worth more. I've done this thinking this would be an irritant to the company, and especially since the one thousand dollar amount is so low. I'm sure the statement and paperwork that is involved far exceeds what income they can get from carry this policy. I have never heard of such a low amount policy so it is with some pride that I continue to carry it. I have the original paper work and policy which is looking pretty old these days. I am satisfied with the product and the company as they are fulfilling their promise even though I'm sure it is not a profitable venture for them at this time.
