"I'M JUST A NUMBER!"
AIG is my husband's life insurance company. The only time we hear from them is when our premium is due. Other than that there are no communications with them. This is not the way to keep customers. Even a on-line e-mail once in a while would be nice. How about it, AIG. Reach out and touch me.

"Term life insurance"
We have not had any problems at all with this company. So far we are satisfied with this company. We have not had to cash in our life insurance (THANK GOODNESS!!) so I am just going off of them carrying our life insurance.

"Happy with AIG"
We have two life insurance policies with AIG. They are both term insurance policies because that is what we needed at that point in time. We have also had whole life. One of the term policies we have had since August 2002 and the other policy since June 2007. We selected both policies via the internet based on the pricing terms. AIG's pricing was very competitive then and they still are now. I believe we used an online company that researches and provides quotes from multiple companies. We also checked their company rating because you want to make sure that the company will be there when, unfortunately, you are not. I have not tried their online customer service though I have called a few times and they are always very helpful and I get what I need completed. I would recommend AIG and will go back to them if we require more life insurance. Livermore, CA.

"AIG Sucks"
I would like to tell people to stay away from AIG life insurance. It has to be the biggest rip off in American history. My late mother and me both had AIG life insurance for about 20 years now. We both at around 75,000 dollar coverage which we paid 30 bucks a month for that coverage. Until my mothers passing, I had no real issues with the company. I know that it needed a bail out from the government to save it's butt, but I thought it was all okay. We would pay out premiums on time and never had a missed payment. Well the reason I hate them so much is because a year ago, my mother died. She had everything in her will how to deal with her death. So beyond my sadness of her dying, I didn't have worries about money to bury her. Well when I notified AIG and sent in her death certificate. They told me that the bill on day late so they won't pay out. I told them that there was no bill, we paid it off a year in a advance and at 9 months we sent in the next years bill. We have done that for 15 years, so how the heck could we be late. Currently I am in a legal battle with them to have them pay out. I had to bury my mom with my savings which almost cost me my house. Never ever you AIG for anything. They suck!
