Globe Life Insurance, a subsidiary of Torchmark Corporation, provides both adult and child term life insurance, accidental death insurance, and Medicare supplement insurance. Globe Life also offers a child safe kit which is a tool to record information about a child that can be used in the event the child is ends up missing. The information recorded is a physical description, picture, and fingerprints of the child.

Globe Life has captured the essence of today's family by helping them to obtain life insurance without having to meet with an insurance agent; it can all be done online. There are no medical exams required to obtain the insurance. Instead, applicants are expected to answer a few health-related questions. Additionally, the insurance is considered lifetime, or until age 80, at which time the insurance policy will end on the anniversary date of the policy following the insured person's 80th birthday. The benefit level is capped at 30,000, but the policy will never be reduced or canceled because of health or occupation.

Globe Life is owned by Torchmark Corporation, one of the most financially sound companies in the world. Torchmark is also one of the world's largest stock holding companies.

According to Globe Life, they have been rated A+ (Superior) by A.M. Best Company. This rating is based on an analysis of the company's overall financial strength, management skills and integrity. The January 2008 rating data shows A.M. Best rating Globe Life as Superior, and by Fitch and Standard Poor as Very Strong.
