History of American Heritage Life Insurance Company

American Heritage Life Insurance Company was founded September 11, 1956 and began operations formally on December 27 of the same year. It was taken over in October, 1999 by the Allstate Group and became the beneficiary of a huge expansion effort that saw it rise to be among the top insurance companies in the country. With headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida, they have offices in 49 states in the United States, besides Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and the District of Columbia.
